Without stating the obvious, we live in unprecedented and uncertain times, but there is perhaps no better time to take stock of our financial situation. It’s vital to ensure you are getting the best possible service from your current adviser so that you are getting the best possible returns on your finances. If you’re unsure, I believe there are 3 important questions to ask your current financial adviser:

  • What charges am I paying at Provider and Adviser level?Ongoing charges have a huge impact on long term performance and even in a rising market will effect performance.
  • Are my charges fair and proportionate and have they been reviewed given the current climate? You should have been receiving an ongoing service for the Financial Adviser charges you pay, as a minimum a 12 month review.
  • Has my Adviser been in touch over the last 4 weeks? If no, then ask yourself why not. And ask your financial adviser why not.

If you are unsure of the service being provided to you by your current financial adviser or the impacts of the current situation on your pensions and investments then please get in touch for support and advice. I offer a free initial consultation which can be conducted over the phone and may be able to assist. To get in touch click here.
